OUR FIVE CORVALLIS PROGENY

Erik Peterson, artistic director of this festival, is a member of the Colorado Symphony,The American Sinfonietta, and the Denali Ensemble.

Michael Tubb has been principal viola in the Debut Symphony and has played in the Peter Britt and Oregon Coast festivals.

Sarah Knutson, of the New Century Chamber Orchestra and The American Sinfonietta, performs regularly with the San Francisco Symphony.

Adam Esbensen is a member of the Louisville Symphony. He performed at Taos and in Spoleto at the Festival of the Two Worlds.

Lara Wickes oboist, has been named the Outstanding Undergraduate Performer at the University of Oregon. The award covers all areas, including drama and dance. Lara performs the Britten Phantasy Friday, June 15.

GUEST ARTISTS

Catherine Lum is second/assistant principal flutist of the Colorado Symphony. She performs Mozart in the opening concert June 12 and Villa-Lobos on the final concert June 17.

Thomas Heinrich of the Colorado Symphony and the Denali Ensemble is principal cellist of The American Sinfonietta and will perform this summer as principal at the Grand Teton Festival.

Phillip Stevens, violist, of the Colorado Symphony and the Denali Ensemble, has a special interest in contemporary chamber works and was a founding member of the Sheridan Chamber Players.

Rachelle McCabe, pianist, Professor of Music, international recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician, performs a Beethoven cello sonata with Thomas Heinrich on Friday, June 15.

Julie Coleman, Oregon Symphony violinist, performs Schubert and Tchaikovsky on Tuesday, and Britten and Gwyneth Walker on Friday.

Abigail Stoughton is principal viola of the Eugene Symphony and of the Oregon Mozart Players. She performs in the opening concert Tuesday, June 12.

Rosemary O'Connor, pianist, has been soloist with a number of symphonies and chamber orchestras in California and in Germany. She performs in the Brahms piano quintet on the final concert June 17.
