Mary Grant

Horn player Mary Grant became a member of the Oregon Symphony in 1994. In addition to playing with the Symphony, she has performed at the Bloch Festival, Sunriver Music Festival, and the Oregon Bach Festival. Ms. Grant previously held positions with the Florida Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria in Mexico City and the Richmond Symphony. While in Richmond, Ms. Grant served on the faculty of the University of Virginia.

She performs frequently with the Minnesota Orchestra, and has toured Europe and Japan with them.

Mary Grant received her musical training at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Myron Bloom. She continued her studies with Philip Myers of the New York Philharmonic and Kendall Betts of the Minnesota Orchestra.
