Myles Criss

Myles CrissOrganist Myles Criss came to Corvallis after 16 years at All Souls Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City and 19 years at Grace Cathedral in Topeka. In 1984 he founded the Topeka Festival Singers, a selective auditioned ensemble which has toured Europe twice and continues to be a major ornament of the area's musical life.

When he arrived in Corvallis to take the position of Music Director at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, Canon Criss built up a loyal choir and founded the popular and respected Fourth Sundays at Four, showcasing first-rate music and fine musicians from throughout the area.

Now, having "retired" at least three times, he is very active in the American Guild of Organists and is a major resource for area churches and concerts with pipe organ. Myles currently graces the bench at First Congregational Church in Corvallis.
