2008 DONOR RECITAL

For Chintimini Donors: An Elegant Salon Recital
with a Bonus to Follow

PHOTO: Katie and Andrew A special treat, before the Festival itself, will be the "Beau Soir" Sunday, June 22, at The Arts Center. There will be hors d'oeuvres, wine and beverages, desserts...and a virtuosic modern salon recital — fiery and romantic — by violinist Katie McLin with her husband, pianist Andrew Campbell. From this intimate setting, the guests will proceed across the corner of Central Park to the Presbyterian Church for the farewell concert of Corvallis Camerata, about to depart for their tour of Italy. Chintimini guests will already have tickets for the next part of the evening.

Italian FlagThe Camerata segment, beginning at 7:00, showcases the tour repertoire, including Vivaldi, Respighi, Barber, and Dvorak. Chintimini musicians play some Beethoven, and at the finale join Camerata for Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence. All those who have contributed $120 or more in support of this year's Festival will receive an invitation to this first-ever two-part event, combining our remarkable hometown prodigies of today with yesterday's prodigies, now in the prime of their music-making careers.

Contributions may be added to ticket orders or sent separately. Please send to:
